Those of you who visit Tim Schafer's blog probably know this, but for those that don't, I'll enlighten you. It seems that, following a meeting a few days ago, two sequels for Psychonauts have been contracted to Tim. Seriously. This is quite honestly the first time that I've ever heard of a game receiving such a deal so soon though -- perhaps Majesco are really trying to take the market by brute force.
Anyway, the games probably won't be on our desks anytime soon, as Tim points out in the article, so I'd try and put it to the backs of your minds now. But still, with two sequels to go, we have something to continue being excited about once the original actually comes out! Let's hope that Tim is able to focus as much of his creative energy into the sequels as he seems to have done with the original. Check out his blog right here.
Edit:- This was our utterly hilarious (¬) April Fools joke. Sorry. :~

Awesome.
Not only is this game going to turn into one great series, but I love the fact that the preorder sales are predicted to beat that of Blizzard and VALVe's. Way to go Double Fine!

Guy who was sadly... fooled

Dude, this would've been MUCH funnier IF on the fake Tim Schafer blog the date was April 1st rather then March 30th... the fact that it was posted the day before April Fools was what made me think that it was either true OR an extremely poorly executed april fools joke... seems it was the latter.
