Epic competition surprises thousands.
Psycho Portals, Majesco's new website which Mojo mentioned the other day, has opened its doors today. You can now register on the website in preparation for a contest which is scheduled to begin on April 16th, which involves working together with others in your city to solve puzzles.
It looks like a fairly serious affair, with a "36" HDTV, a Dolby 5.1 surround sound system and an Xbox video game console with a copy of Psychonauts!" being offered as the main prize. The site also mentions something possibly Psychonauts-related happening in the actual cities involved in the contest, which could be very exciting for those in the area. Maybe they'll unleash thousands of helium Psychonauts balloons into the sky. Maybe they'll stick gigantic Psychonauts banners up on buildings. Who knows?
Anyway, be sure to at least register for the contest right here. You'll be asked to enter a variety of personal details, but since this is Majesco's site, you have very little to worry about with regards to privacy. The aforementioned site has plenty of details which thoroughly explain how the contest actually works.
Unfortunately though, this contest is a little selective in who it allows to enter. Only those near the US cities listed seem to be eligible, so be make that you're in one of them before you go and get involved. The cities are New York, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Detroit, San Francisco, Seattle and Atlanta. There'll be another reminder posted in the razputin.net news once the competition actually begins, just case you happen to forget. Okay? Okay.
